This watercolor painting captures a beach hammock & palm trees backed by turquoise blue water. This tropical location is on Jost Van Dyke Island in the BVIs. An idyllic beach restaurant to enjoy music & dine with friends.
In 1968, young Philicianno "Foxy" Callwood set up his bar in the shade of a Tamarind Tree to welcome sailors to his island home. Foxy's Tamarind Bar is a popular destination on Jost van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands.
This painting was inspired by memories of fun times & travels around the islands. A vacation paradise!
